Open for testers
Your daily walk, prayed.
Praycer is a free prayer-walking app. Pick a walk, take one verse with you, and pray as you go. We’re opening it to testers now, and we’d love you to walk with us.
Installs from your browser in 30 seconds · iPhone & Android · 18+ · Free while we test
Getting started
From this page to your first walk in about five minutes.
There’s no app store and no waiting list. Open Praycer in your browser, add it to your home screen, and you’re in.
Add it to your phone
Tap “Become a tester”, then add Praycer to your home screen. It opens full screen like any other app. See the steps.
Make one small promise
Choose your days, a time and a length, and tie it to something you already do. For example: “20 minutes, Mon, Wed and Fri, after my morning coffee.”
Walk and pray
Tap Start, put your phone away and go. Praycer times your walk, keeps your prayer focus on screen and lets you jot down what God puts on your heart.
What you can do today
Built for the walk, and for the days you miss.
Everything here is in the app right now. You can try it all as a tester.
A simple commitment
Small and specific beats big and vague.
Pick your days, a time of day and a length of walk, from 10 to 60 minutes. Attach it to a habit you already have, and give yourself a Sabbath rest day. One clear promise you can actually keep.
- Walk sessions of 20 minutes, 30, 45 or an hour
- A built-in rest day that never counts against you
- A daily Bible verse to walk with
Grace over guilt
Missed a day? Nothing resets.
Most habit apps count streaks, then make you feel like a failure when one breaks. Praycer measures faithfulness over four weeks instead. Miss a walk and you’ll get a ten-minute comeback walk and one kind nudge. The discipline is the returning.
- Faithfulness over four weeks, not streaks
- A ten-minute comeback walk, never a guilt trip
- Reminders on your terms: morning, midday or evening
Better together
Pray alongside people you know.
Start a private circle with friends, a mentor or your small group. See who has walked today (never what they prayed), send a 🙏 that reaches their phone, and take on a circle challenge together. You can also share requests and praises on the community prayer wall.
- Private circles you create and control
- Invite friends by WhatsApp, text, email or QR code
- Block, report and word filters for a kind community
Remember what God has done
A prayer journal that builds as you walk.
Jot a note mid-walk and tag it: gratitude, scripture, intercession or reflection. Tap any Bible reference to read it and walk with that verse. Months later, look back at the prayer that became a praise report.
- Notes are private to you
- Search, tags and Bible references
- Export your walk history any time
How we build
Three promises we’re building Praycer around.
Gentle by design
No streaks to protect, no shame notifications. Rest is part of the plan, and coming back is celebrated.
Private by default
Your notes are yours. Circles only show whether you walked. You can export or delete everything, at any time, from the app.
Built with testers
Praycer is made by one founder who reads every message. What you tell us in testing decides what gets built next.

Questions
Before you join.
Is Praycer really free?
Yes. Praycer is free while we’re in testing. If we ever add paid plans, we’ll tell you well in advance, and nothing you’ve already made or saved will be taken away. The details are in our terms.
Do I need the App Store or Google Play?
No. Praycer installs straight from your browser as a web app. It opens full screen from your home screen and can send walk reminders. Here’s how to add it on iPhone and Android. Store apps are something we’d like to build later.
Who is it for?
Praycer is a Christian prayer-walking app, for anyone 18 or over who wants to pray more and move more. It’s for beginners and long-time walkers alike. Scripture and Christian prayer are at its heart.
Who can see my prayers?
Only you can see your prayer notes. In a circle, your friends can see whether you walked today and how your week is going, never your notes. Anything you post to the community prayer wall is visible to other Praycer users, so share only what you’re comfortable with. Read the full detail in our privacy policy.
Does it track my location?
If you allow it, Praycer uses your phone’s GPS during a walk to work out distance. We keep only the distance, never a map of where you went. You can say no and still walk with Praycer.
Will it nag me?
No. You choose morning, midday or evening reminders. They only come on your walk days, never on your rest day, and after a missed walk you’ll get one kind comeback nudge, never two in a row.
How do I leave?
Open Settings in the app and delete your account. Everything goes with it. You can export your walk history first. If you can’t get into the app, here’s how to ask us to do it.
Come and walk with us.
The first walk takes 20 minutes. Getting set up takes 30 seconds.
