Delete your account

You can leave Praycer whenever you like. Deleting your account removes your personal information and content from our live systems straight away.

Option 1: delete it in the app (quickest)

1. Open Praycer and go to Settings.
2. Choose Delete account, follow the confirmation prompts, then tap Delete my account. You’ll be signed out.

Want to keep a copy first? In Settings you can export your walk history as a CSV file before you delete.

Option 2: ask us by email

If you can’t sign in, email hello@praycer.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Praycer account”. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete your account within 30 days. You don’t need to give a reason.

What gets deleted

• your profile, name, email and the details you gave us (age range, gender, height, weight and so on);
• all your walks, commitments, points and badges;
• all your prayer notes;
• your posts, replies and reactions, and your circle memberships (circles you created are deleted for all members);
• your reminder settings and push addresses.

What we may keep

• Short-lived backups held by our database provider, which are overwritten on their normal cycle.
• A record of reports about content or conduct, where needed to protect other users.
• Emails you’ve sent us, and anything we’re legally required to keep.
• Your email address on our suppression list, if you unsubscribed, so we don’t email you again.
